About this model
Christmas ornament with name – Flat tree decoration with your name in script – as a ball, olive, heart or star, with snowflakes, a little forest or moon and stars. Ring, name and motifs in their own colours, with a cap and an eye to hang it up.

Common questions
How is the ornament printed?
Lying flat, without supports. In the 3MF ring, name and motifs are separate parts in their colours – assign a filament to each colour in the slicer. Without a multi-colour printer: take the STL and print it in one colour, or change the filament at the height of the name (colour change by pause).
Do the motifs weaken the ring?
No. Where snowflakes, stars or the moon lie on the ring, the ring stays whole in its colour underneath; only the top layers (1 mm by default) have the motif colour. Beside the ring and over the edge the motifs are full height.
Why does the name have an edge in the colour of the ring?
The slim contour behind the letters holds the name together – the dots of i, ä, ö and ü too – and connects it to the ring on the left and right. The letters stand out a little on top of it.
Which font is used?
Pacifico, a free script font (SIL Open Font License). Its strokes are strong and print cleanly from a text height of about 6 mm.
